Gronk Ping!................
Gee, I wonder how it got here?
I enjoyed watching Gronk as a player, and when he left the Patriots and eventually retired, the sport became even less enjoyable, particularly after the kneeling crap.
Watching him play was like watching a big kid. And he is no dummy, even though he deliberately came across as a frat boy.
He was smart with his career, money, and investments.
One of my favorite Gronk moments was watching him put a big dent in one of the Super Bowl trophies by using it as a baseball bat!
Even Belechick had to smirk at that one...I think the whole organization did. When you go to the Pats Museum in Foxboro, they proudly display the one with the dent in it!
They never fixed it (maybe they did by now)
Sigh. I do miss feeling that way about football, the way a kid would...like Gronk did.
He said, “Yes, no, maybe so...”
How is that a “no”?
One of my favorite Gronk memories was a playoff game. He started in the right tight end position, and was running straight up the field. Three small DBs were harassing the crap out of him. It looked like Colossus amidst some trolls. The quarterback just placed the throw way high, but not too high for Gronk. He caught the pass and ran at least 10 more yards before the trolls brought him down. The trolls looked at each other, shrugging their shoulders.
Too many crappy adds. Video of Gronk never loaded.
Crappy website.
