Vassar appears to be a millenial, which means he’s learned to act on feeling in complete absence of rational thought.

Basically, the vaunted integrity of the bureaucratic deepstate administrators burrowed into FBI, Texas Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies that were never supposed to be questioned or investigated are on trial being exposed for the world to see.

You can easily identify them by their clear hatred of “conspiracy theories.”

I guess “good faith” means “accusing someone of a crime, even if you have no evidence.”

This has been a disaster for the RINOs. They have NOTHING and all Texans have seen it. If they remove Paxton now, it will cost them their political careers. I’d bet several like Dade Phelan won’t survive this as is. Clearly the Texas house needs a thorough enema. It is infested with RINOs.

Not so fast on the not guilty.

It's going to be close vote.

I do not believe politicians care at all what voters think on this impeachment. They believe they vote right “mostly”.

Enough to remain in office.

This has been broadcast. Even regular papers have been admitting how bad their case is. They’re corrupt, but they’re cowards. They don’t want the voters pissed off enough to throw them out.

Already unhappy my State Rep. an R voted to impeach. If he has any kind of decent primary opposition he will not get my vote.
Will of course pay attention to how my State Senator an R votes. Trial is supposed to end on Friday I think, so may send email to Senator in a day or so letting her know I am against removal of Paxton.

Those legislators who voted for this impeachment need to be indicted for malfeasance, misfeasance and nonfeasance in office and those impeachment prosecutors need to be indicted for malicious prosecution.

This is a little off-topic, but important.

Both the Texas and Florida legislatures are controlled by weak Republicans.

The difference in their behaviors is that Florida has Ron DeSantis as a governor.

Without DeSantis at the helm, the Florida legislature would be kissing up to Disney and Bud Light right now. And hugging Biden at the airport.

this will light up all the capitulating Republicans for all to see.

Texans knew he had baggage and elected him anyway, so the people have spoken.

Michael Berry reported this morning that over 10 Senators have made it known they will vote to acquit. He only needs 10.

About 20 of the 31 Senators are Republicans, but some of them are RINOS.

The defense, led by Tony Buzzbee. His team is ripping the prosecutors, including Rusty Hardin and Dick DeGuerin new assholes.

What is not widely known is the George P. Bush reactivated his law license the very day after the conspirators went to the FBI; even though they knew there was no evidence Paxton did anything wrong.

One of the conspirators got $50,000 approved for payment to an attorney named Sutton. The guy who arranged that payment had it cancelled, however a group associated with the Bushes paid this same attorney $175,000 to work against Paxton.

There is a lot more conspirator conduct that is being revealed.

Buzbee’s team has forced the prosecution witnesses to admit they have no evidence against Paxton.

Expect Paxton to make their lives miserable once he is acquitted. Payback is going to be a real bitch.

If I went to the FBI and told them this witness is a child molester and offered no evidence of such, they would politely escort me out of their office and say to their other agents, “another nut case.” But if was Paxton, it would become an active investigation.
