One of the best parts of this video is when the “prosecution” objects because the defense attorney’s language was harsh. Defense attorney then “asks nicely” and the guy on the stand is still squirming.
I think it’s pretty obvious the guy on the stand and the ‘others’ that went to the FBI were acting under orders. From who? The Bush/Rove/Abbott/RINO wing of the Texas Republican Party. Those folks can’t have a guy like Paxton around.
The guy on the witness stand looks like he’s about to cry. Probably one of those things where he was ordered to do something. And was told that nothing would happen. No questions will be asked.
So, at the end of the day, the guy on the stand, who looks like he’s about to cry and fall apart, is probably a pretty good example of the type of person that is routinely elected at every level of government. Straight up, corrupt clown that folds under the slightest bit of pressure. But for people like him, it’s all about getting the job and then enriching himself.
Folks talk a great game about wanting fighters like Pres Trump then go ahead and elect clowns like that guy, thinking he’ll do something other than sell out.
Is this going to be a case of the Senators' votes being a foregone conclusion regardless of the facts that were actually presented, or will it be like a normal jury of peers who are actually influenced by the testimony that is presented?

Exactly, evidence is no longer needed to convict a Republican. They just need corrupt judges and "jurors" who have their minds made up.

And these are the people that weasel their way into office, every level, and do nothing but screw over the people every chance they get.
I don’t know much about this whole thing. From what I’ve read it seems like an attempt to get rid of Paxton to get someone more ‘favorable’ to the RINO/Establishment. That being said, I really do hope that Paxton prevails. And after that, I hope he is called to testify on Pres Trump’s behalf at the upcoming trials. Paxton wasn’t allowed to show all the evidence he had collected. He had NO STANDING.
It would be nice to see him dropping bombs in a courtroom where they can’t shut him up.
