It OFFICIALLY remains a war between two non-NATO nations, in which all except actual, really-official and legal declarations of war have been made by NATO, which includes the Biden-Blinken-Nuland team.
Moreover, when Annalena Baerbock (Green Party) in Germany stated aloud it was "war" she was quickly walked back by the Scholz coalition government. And when Josep Borrell (Spanish socialist) of the European Commission declared it as "war," his words were also very quickly walked back by the EU leaders. Odd, isn't it.
We want it to be a war. We want to, but we don't want to actually call it a war. Similarly the Russians are doing their word game in terming this a "special military operation." Words seem important to some. Not all, of course.
