Regarding Proverbs 6:16-19, believe what you will, but also be aware of how Satan uses our politics to get us to check quite a few of those seven boxes.

Say what you will, but do be aware of how your words can and will be used against you in the Court of the Lord. Jesus spoke very clearly about that one.

As such, I’ve had to adjust my ‘self’ accordingly and tone down my comments here and elsewhere since that realization.

Fwiw, I figure that violating any of those seven in order to “win” some argument of the moment just isn’t worth the long-term consequences.
