Actually that’s a terrible idea. For one thing any system that can be accessed legitimately can be accessed illegitimately, so wiring a building to explode while constructing is just waiting for somebody to “hack” it. And then when you think about how often office buildings have internal space demoed and remodeled you’re now just asking for accidents. Then of course you’ve got the way technology changes, just by the 1980s controlled demolition was vastly different than when WTC was built. Leaving yourself “trapped” with old technology for an eventual possible demo 30, 40, 50 years in the future would just be dumb. Plus of course rats, you’d have to revisit all your wiring anyway, so there’d be no time savings.
