Gavin Newsom Is Not Running for President in 2024 - By Michelle Obama Just Might: He’s the most promising major Democratic Party politician in America today. Young, articulate, and confident, California’s Governor Gavin Newsom has been rumored to be running a shadow campaign for president in 2024 for months.
Finally, after endless speculation, the California governor has put to bed suspicions that he’s planning to replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s nominee in 2024.
“Not going to happen,” was what Newsom explicitly told NBC’s Chuck Todd on Meet the Press recently, when referencing the likelihood of his presidential campaign in 2024.
Newsom, who came up in California politics with Vice-President Kamala Harris, insisted that if the forty-sixth president did not—or could not—run for reelection, Harris would be “lined up” to be his natural replacement at the top of the ticket.

Unlike most first ladies, Michelle Obama was a very political animal herself. She did not enjoy the hurly-burly of American electoral politics, but she was an ideologically Far Left individual since her years as a Princeton student.
Michelle Obama brings those hardened Leftist views with her, if she does opt to run as a replacement for Joe Biden, should the forty-sixth president prove unable to compete in 2024.
