There is an ongoing legal dispute between yacht broker Merle Wood (MWA) and Oceanco. MWA alleges that they are owed a 5% commission on the sale of the yacht Seven Seas to Spielberg. Oceanco denies the existence of such an agreement.
The Dutch court in Rotterdam has ruled that MWA has the right to request a preliminary witness hearing to gather evidence and clarify their position. However, Steven Spielberg is not a party in this conflict.
The yacht was delivered to Spielberg in July 2023 after accommodating some additional owner requests and guarantee works.

Watch out for pirates in SF bay
Now that’s a huge carbon footprint.
$250 million? Irrelevant - what’s its carbon footprint???
You can’t fish from that. No trolling motor or downriggers.
Hope he sails that badboy off the coast of Somalia and the pirates sink it.

It's also ugly. But he did get a bigger boat.
Good one.
One Word: GLOBOHOMO
If you buy a hundred thousand dollar vehicle you can apparently take 80 percent of the cost of your profit in the first year. Say you have 100k profit. you pay tax on $20000. Since many mega yacht owners never even visit their yacht there is probably something similar in write-offs for owning one. It was mentioned in an article about one billionaire that he owned several yachts but had never stepped for on them.
The trailer for that thing must be yuge!
YES!!!!
Estimated 20 - 30 million $ per year to maintain.
Its ugly, too many windows too low to the water line, which isnt good if it got caught in very rough seas. 30 crew members is too many for that type of vessel. Not enough guest cabins.
WHAT!!!!!!!Haven’t you heard..The end of our world is only for peons...The elites will be just fine....No climate change catastrophe in their world....
Fugly.
I mean really, what’s the point. A poster above said tax write-offs. Maybe that’s a good enough reason. It would useful as a motel in San Remo or perhaps, Santarini.
