Exactly! Most are traumatized and don’t really understand the Net. My husband was in between Korea and Nam. He spent a year on the DMZ. Most of these guys talk just to talk. It helps them. The bad thing is that they tell the wrong thing online. It doesn’t mean they are dangerous.
They need to get into groups of similar vets if possible.
My co-worker is very involved in the Chattanooga Chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. It’s not a biker club like the Hells’ Angels, but a nationwide association that has members in most every state. Depending on their condition and whether they have motorcycles (3 wheels Ok), they could join such a group.
