Thank you, #17. I’ve been reading about it. From what I understand, it is a fruit sugar, or fructose. Have you experienced any side effects like blood sugar spikes, or gas/bloating with it?
No gas or bloating. As far as blood sugar spikes, I wouldn’t know as I haven’t ever checked that or felt the need to.
I take the amla powder with a bunch of other powdered herbs and supplements waaayy too long to list, in a breakfast drink based in lemonade, orange juice and iced tea. I sip that over the course of a couple hours. In a shaker bottle, as it has to be shaken before each sip because the contents settle. Yes, I’m a little odd. But since I’m not hungry until hours after I get up, that does the trick for breakfast, and gets me awake and energized.
