Brazil and the United States are two countries of continental proportions, frequent UFO sightings and active communities of extraterrestrial enthusiasts. But how each has responded to the most fundamental of human questions — are we alone? — has been sharply different. In the United States, the matter of unidentified aerial phenomena has often been treated as a closely guarded government secret. Meanwhile, in Brazil and much of South America, there has been a more relaxed attitude toward the inexplicable, the public’s right to know and the limits of scientific explanation.
Now, as legislators in Washington push for the same transparency that other parts of the world have enjoyed for years, the cultural and nationalistic differences between how countries interpret the skies and what is divulged have grown even more apparent.
In South America, at least four countries — Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru — have public government programs that study and investigate UFO activity. Argentina and Chile regularly release reports on identifying aerial objects. And in Uruguay, which has passed UFO details along to the United States since the 1970s, the military runs the Commission for the Reception and Investigation of Complaints of Unidentified Flying Objects.

Whether a country shares that contention, researchers say, often comes down to military interests. The United States, for example, has often been less willing to publicize or publicly engage on questions about UFOs — even going so far to spread misinformation in the 1950s — for fear of ceding a strategic advantage to adversaries and jeopardizing national security.
“The U.S. has always tended toward secrecy,” said Chris Impey, an astronomer at the University of Arizona. “Only in the last year or so has there been a push for transparency, but the backdrop of that was flat-out denial or secrecy.”

The simplest explanation would be that the US government is treating its secret experimental aircraft programs as...secret. The other countries don’t have such programs and thus no reason to be secrtive.
Everything that we have discovered leads me to believe that the speed of light is an absolute limit for both information and an asymptotic limit to the speed of material things. That being said the interaction between quantum linked particles has been measured to be at least 10k times faster than light, but its useless as a way of communicating because you can’t control the direction of the collapse. Take quantum linked particles and collapse the wave on one by measuring it and say you get a down spin. The other member of the pair will have an up spin. But the direction of spin generated by looking at the particle is always random. So if you are attempting to communicate via quantum linked particles what you get is just a random binary string.
I don’t know what the future holds (otherwise I would be a lot richer), but saying that UFOs might be aliens that know different physics than our understanding is like saying here a miracle occurs

You comment seems to indicate that we now know everything there is to know about physics and quantum theory, sort of like science in the 1950s claimed they knew everything, and it was just a matter of filling in the details.

Read James Maxwell Clerk (1831-1879) in the original version, and you will learn that of his 200 field equations, only 4 were converted to vector equations which gave us everything we know about the classical theory of electromagnetic radiation, which was the first theory to describe electricity, magnetism and light as different manifestations of the same phenomenon.
What does the other 194 field equations postulate? Limitless energy, moving from any one point to any other point in the universe just by stepping across a point, among many others.
So don’t say we know everything, and that physics is can never make something happen which seems now to be a miracle, as electricity and a light bulb would be would be to someone living in the 18th century.
you keep coming back to the same things over again. “we don’t know what we don’t know” Of course we don’t but unless there is some experimental or theoretical indications that there is an entirely different physical model that allows FTL movement, which to the best of my knowledge does not exist. I’ll go with here a miracle happens as your thesis and I don’t think it’s possible is mine.
