Well, that’s as good a theory as any, better than most.
He was a hell of an offensive innovator.
Bama fan here. I still say it was lucky and we disagree. Didn’t matter much because of the Tennessee loss and Georgia would have wrecked us.
As a native Louisianian, born and raised in the New Orleans ninth ward, ( As an aside, the NOPD calls the ninth ward a ‘war zone.’ ;-) ) I never understood why he was hired to LSU in the first place. He simply does not fit the area nor the culture in that region of the country. He is no Charlie Mac, for sure! LOL
I had to look that up. I think Meyer is trying too hard again.
The biggest upset nobody is really talking about is Texas State beating Baylor.
I know Dave Aranda was on LSU’s radar when they were looking for a coach, but this has to be a big setback for him.
I told my ND fan friends go watch this POS. He’ll get down on his belly and crawl out of town just the way he crawled out of Cincinnati. He stuck it to ND and his players there the same way he did at UC. LSU deserves better than this creep. The quicker LSU figures this out, the better off they’ll be.
I will say, while I am disappointed with Napier so far, I’d much rather have him, than Kelly. I think Napier is a good guy, just a bit over his head, but maybe he can get it worked out before the end of the season.
Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes upset TCU a little bit................
Well at least TCU’s defense is improving, they gave up 20 fewer points than in their previous game.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. The game is still won or lost at the line of scrimmage. Always has been. Always will be. That's the key to determining how well Bama should have done last year and how well they'll do this year. This year they're supposed to be better in the trenches on the offensive side (maybe taking a step back on the defensive side with no Will Anderson, but supposedly better nose tackle).
They’ve had a dozen coaches since they ran off Charlie Mac.
It’s not the ‘talent’ on the sidelines, it’s the ‘talent’ on the field.................
We hired Arnsparger as our AD after he left LSU. Best AD we ever had, hired Spurrier, and cleaned up the mess, he doesn’t get enough credit for putting UF football on the map.
TCU was the only Top 25 ranked team that lost this weekend................
LSU fans want his head..................
Rankings don’t mean much on Week 1, it’s based on last year.
True, I don’t put much faith in them.
Just like NFL ‘Power Rankings’.....................
I think Texas, who IMO held the title of Most Entitled Fans off and on for many years, must yield the crown to LSU on this one!
Big time college basketball players jump to the pros instead of playing out their eligibility. You don’t see that in football because they don’t want to take the pay cut.
