New research provides evidence that left-wing authoritarianism is a valid concept that predicts important real-world phenomena, including restrictive communication norms and dogmatism.
The findings, published in Frontiers in Psychology, are based on data collected from more than 8,000 U.S. residents and more than 60,000 individuals from around the world.
“It’s obvious to a lot of people that left-wing persons can be just as authoritarian as right-wing persons, and yet academics have been curiously reluctant to admit that, or even to show interest in studying it. We wanted to provide more definitive scientific evidence that left-wing authoritarianism was a real and pervasive problem, not just in the United States, but around the world.”
"Left-wing authoritarians were also more supportive of restricting what people in society can say, displayed a stronger dislike of “Bible-believing” African-Americans and Jews who were “strong supporters of the nation of Israel,” and scored higher on a measure of dogmatism."
“We asked American participants to identify the number of left-wing authoritarians in their lives, and I was very surprised at the sheer number they identified,” Conway told PsyPost. “I had predicted the average American would identify 1 or 2, and I laughed at a non-academic who predicted closer to 15. But the truth was very much closer to 15 than to 1.”

I’ve yet to meet a single right-wing person who had any authoritarian streak. The left conflates laws meant to provide societal stability and the conservation of the Republic with “authoritarian.” Like laws banning child mutilation under the pretext of “affirmative care” or putting some limits on abortion. The left declares such laws as “authoritarian,” but they are really meant to strengthen an immoral society.

Concluding Thoughts
Using a multi-method approach spanning multiple content areas, validity types, statistical controls, and scale types, the present results consistently show that, just as right-wing persons are sometimes authoritarian, left-wing persons may also be similarly authoritarian. Taken together, this large array of evidence suggests that left-wing authoritarianism is more of a reality than a myth.
We certainly did not need a study to tell us that. These leftiat want to control everything.

The problem is the customary "it isn't oppression when we do it" blindness of a ruling class convinced that their motivations are purely benevolent - has anyone forgotten Hillary Clinton's perfect summation: "We're going to take things away from you for the Common Good"? Its all in the "we" and the "you" there. It's actually pretty hard to ignore once you're on the receiving end, and that the speaker intends you to be there for life.

An authoritarian mental disorder based on a unhealthy or totally lacking self worth. So they need morons elected in above them to take care of them and rob and bully productive people.
