Other Democrats are either ill-informed or just plain stupid politically. Jimmy Buffett was evidently in this group.
It is a mistake to lump those two groups together. Try it, and you’ll end up hating half your fellow citizens.
In the entertainment industry, if you want a career, you side with the Democrats.
My husband’s sister and her husband are very conservative, but are personal friends with Buffett. So at least he ate, drank, and sang with others from across the aisle.
That’s a good point - Democrat voters are stupid, but mostly innocent. They are the deceived, not the de deceivers.
Democrat politicians are evil. Perhaps not at first, but soon enough, they know full well they are exploiting the very people they claim to represent.
Where I might disagree with you is where these Leftist celebrities fall in the spectrum of deceived vs. deceivers. Like political leaders, celebrities are have the power to influence - and with power comes responsibility.
I don’t think they are any more innocent than the Leftist politicians.
The same is true of leftist teachers and college professors, Doctors Without Borders, Fauci type “civil servants”, etc.. If they are smart enough to get rich and famous, they are smart enough to know right from wrong, and are not innocent.
