Jimmy Buffett's Trump dis angers fans: 'Way to alienate half the people buying your music'

Over the weekend, singing legend Jimmy Buffett campaigned for Florida’s big governor race, supporting Democrat Andrew Gillum, and even tweaked the lyrics to his song “Come Monday” to make his point. At the Get Out the Vote rally in West Palm Beach, not far from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, the crooner sang: “Come Tuesday/Things will change. Come Tuesday/We’re making a change. It’s been two insane years/Time to really switch gears.”

Buffett had a long friendship with Teddy K. I didn’t hold that against him.

So Mary Jo Koepechne being let to drown in an Oldsmobile, would agree, according to you.

Buffett was big on having his concertgoers vaxxed or tested before attending his concerts.

It’s Vax ‘O Clock Somewhere: Jimmy Buffett welcomes fans to Blossom, if they’re vaccinated or tested

He probably got vaxxed himself.

Went to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Nashville. Won't be
going there again. The food sucks anyway!

Well, what a coincidence. Speaking of the ill. There is an old article out there about Jimmy requiring fans to show proof of vaccination or show proof of a negative COVID test to attend his concerts. So - I wonder what the death count is up to of fans who died because they got vaccinated to go to his concerts.

That’s true of lots of rich people. They would rather be on the “proper” side than do anything to better the little people.

Oddly, it’s amazing how much they contradict themselves because they are enslaved to a Party rather than have heart-felt beliefs.

“So at least he ate, drank, and sang with others from across the aisle.”

That used to be the norm when America was still America, and the democrats weren’t such hateful, communist scum.

True, Buffett's base was back in the 80's, boomers of white male men who were basically conservative, and loved to drink beer in the parking lot, and show off their parrot hats, like a drag show.

He wore a “Don’t buy books from crooks” t-shirt on his live album. Some of that was trying to make it in the business.

His anti-Semitic innuendo on “You’ll never work in this business again” was telling

Reminds of this classic from Norm MacDonald (RIP)

“Earlier this week, Marlon Brando met with Jewish leaders to apologize for comments he made on Larry King Live, among them that “Hollywood is run by Jews.” The Jewish leaders accepted the actor’s apology and announced that Brando is now free to work again.”

On a side note think about all the influence and culture around one song Margaritaville. What does that say about our culture- most people want to be lazy, unambitious, carefree and drunk with a warm beach setting thrown in?
Maybe I’m just reading more into it than just a light hearted song but he sprung up a whole industry out of it so it seems.

It’s funny how anti-Semitism goes in and out of vogue with Democrats. I don’t know how they keep up
