I can understand your frustration, Petey. I believe the last thread included some unprovoked snark/insults for the calculated purpose of building resentment and drawing responses out of those who normally resist, only to turn it around on us as they play the victim. Trolling is up, up, up. But take heart - the calvary is not needed! :D *cyber hug*
I think that one followed me from the thread I was posting on as he found my statement that we had to agree to disagree absolutely intolerable, and so I think he came here to provoke further response from me. Therefore, to refuse him his next meal, I am not going to clarify.
It is kind of you to wish to defend me, but no need, M'Dear. I post on Ukraine, Covid, Ivermectin and Vax threads and at that rate, we could have a train of people all coming here to bring debates on other threads to this one, criticizing me to 'keep it going.'
To the kind-hearted to wish to show support for me- what really slays this kind of trolling is silence. They need posts from you to get it going, and keep posting on the subject of their choosing, not ours. They could post just their snark, but if you reply they can amplify with a back and forth and if the calvary joins in, he could get a few back and forths going to reap a harvest of 8- 10 posts in response to that one post. That's what feeds 'em.
I think we can just leave the porch light on to discourage pestering posters, and focus our words 'n memes on the content some want to distratct from. We gotta be over the target given the roiling of threads lately! NCSWC! :D
