I have a shoe box I lined with several layers of foil then taped it shut so the top foil completely touches the bottom foil. I tested with an AM radio and nothing got through.

Thanks for the additional info. Kind of embarrassed because stuff like that is stuff I *SHOULD* know, but often don't.
