I have a reptile adventure. This is what I found when I went to pick beans this morning. Luckily the tenant was gone. Can anybody tell what type it was? Nobody here is helpful, I was told a rattler and a king cobra. I think they're just trying to scare me.

Lol, I had one of those hanging off my front porch the other day (from the rafter down to a planter). I don’t know if you can tell what kind of snake by the skin 🤷♀️
Around here 95% of the snakes I see are non-venomous rat or water snakes. I have only seen a copperhead a few times (I think the good snakes keep them away which is why I leave them be)

Cotton, download and put “google lens” over the picture and it will tell you what it is.
It tells you what everything is.
I use it to check antiques and and stuff at resale shops and such.

That looks like one of the rat snakes we have around here. They are very beneficial animals.
The only thing we know for certain is that is how big it used to be.
