Climate emergency. The Covid is wearing thin, and WWIII is too risky. They are priming us with the 'hottest year ever' propaganda (although where I live, it has been cool all year apart from a few days in July (Summer??)).

I guess the scenario would involve taking over oil companies and coal burning plants (for the good of the planet). Curtailing power use. Setting up a Climate Police unit to enforce compliance. Rationing, complete monitoring of your energy use, that sort of thing...

It seems like that is the road we are on.
