I remember when America’s teachers were some of America’s finest people. It’s not like that anymore. I went to school from 1955 to 1967. I can still remember all of my teachers’ names.
Same here. California public schools, 1966 to 1979. They were model citizens for we students. One weird English teacher in seventh grade. She lasted one semester and was gone. The rest were good, and a few were flat out excellent.
