When I saw the words “Glory to Heroes” in your post, I thought you were referring to the 13 American service members who were killed in a bomb attack in Kabul 2 years ago today.
Silly me.

May they rest in peace. I pray that their loved ones are always held in the Lord’s comforting arms.
Thank you. Your article actually is quite pro-Ukraine.
“At some point Moscow may decide that it must seek a route out of this morass but we can only guess what it will take to get this decision and when it might occur. We do not know enough about the interaction between the various external pressures on Russia and the internal decision-making. Only on occasion do we get glimpses of the tensions within the elite, of which the Wagner mutiny was the most extreme example. As Ukraine and its Western allies cannot force a decision on Moscow, all that can be done is keep up the pressure and accept that this may have to be done for months, even years.”
BTW, you skipped the conclusion summation:
“This is why the decision to send F-16s to Ukraine is IMPORTANT. It will certainly not help with the current offensive as it is unlikely that they will be flying much before next summer. But for that very reason they signal understanding of the potential length of this war. That is also why it is ESSENTIAL to STEP-UP production of ammunition and other war material. If it is likely that fighting will continue well into the next year then that should be reflected in Ukrainian strategy. Grumbles about slow progress should NOT LEAD to pressure to push harder than is feasible or prudent during the current offensive. The aim should be to get in as good a position as possible for the coming stages of the war and also to think about how best to sustain and develop capabilities for these stages. Whether Ukrainian forces do well or badly in the coming months it will still be essential to think long-term.”

Good news: Russia lost a lot of extremely expensive and hard to replace equipment this week.
Ukraine is going for what they can get as cheaply as they can get it. Its working.
Amen
“more than 100 casualties and about 300 injured [russians]”
pooty can still claim victory and go home...
Vlad0 posted an article which addresses your point & ultimately is supportive of Ukraine.
“Ukraine’s offensive: is it failing?” https://samf.substack.com/p/ukraines-offensive-is-it-failing
However, he did not post the summation conclusion.
I did in Comment #25: https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4178053/posts?page=25#25
Thank you for your comment.
In Video Comment #8 number one, this is partly addressed as well:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has condemned the detention of Crimean Tatars on Ukraine’s Independence Day and called upon the international community to “keep putting pressure on Russia”.
I didn’t know there were living Tartars?
Tragically, that’s what a military under and egoist tyrant looks like.
I hear putin thinks he’s the re-incarnation of Peter the Great
Tatars have called Crimea home for centuries, but became a minority after Russia took over the region in the 18th century under Catherine the Great. Joseph Stalin had the entire population deported to Central Asia during WWII claiming they were Nazi collaborators & only allowed to return to the peninsula in the 1980s.
Crimean Tatars having this history of Russian persecution led made them oppose the 2014 Russian annexation attempt. Russian authorities subsequently tried to co-opt Crimean When Tatar leader refused to collaborate with Russia then Russia banned their elected representative: mejlis.
Many Crimean Tatars are recognized as political prisoners with increased arrests and political pressure since the Feb 2022 Russian invasion. Russian authorities said anyone displaying pro-Ukraine sentiment is liable for arrest.
Tamila Ravilivna Tasheva, serving as the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea since 25 April 2022, said: “First they tried to buy us, then they tried to repress us and now they see mobilization as a way to try to simply get rid of us.”

Now that’s funny! Are you also praying for Riverdale high? You’d better. . . or else. . .
Thanks so much for this info
May the Tartars receive justice
May the Tartars receive justice
May it be so
