Drew Carey took over as host, and the show continues to be extremely popular to this day. Drew Carey is doing a good job.
I have found it increasingly difficult to guess the prices as so many episodes were filmed before the current inflation doom spiral.

Remember watching him on TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES when I was itty-bitty. Then, soon after, I learned there was a place called “Truth or Consequences” New Mexico. I asked my dad to drive me down there so that I could meet Bob Barker.

The Price Is Right host was Bill Cullen, who had severe polio and was always shown stationary or seated during the broadcasts.
I can't recall any other game show host who was disabled like Cullen was.

Born in Darrington, WA on Dec 12, 1923.
Grew up on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in SD where his Mom was a teacher.
Went to HS in Springfield, MO.
Joined the Navy in WWII and trained as a fighter pilot. Commissioned as an Ensign Dec 6, 1944. Active duty until Nov 24, 1945. Remained in the Naval Reserve until 1960.
Black belt in Karate. Also earned a red belt in tang soo do karate under Chuck Norris.
