Bankruptcy is not shady. It is a well accepted method of restructuring. Mump & Dump is not only shady it’s illegal.
By contrast, Chapter 11 is a form of bankruptcy that involves a reorganization of a debtor’s business affairs, debts, and assets. It is most often used by businesses, though it is available to some individuals as well. The main difference is that the entity filing for bankruptcy remains in control of operations and is not required to liquidate their assets.
The biggest advantage is that the entity, usually a business, can continue operations while going through the reorganization process. This allows it to generate cash flow that can aid in the repayment process. The court also issues an order that keeps creditors at bay.
Most creditors are receptive to Chapter 11 as they stand to recoup more, if not all, of their money over the course of the repayment plan than if the company simply went out of business.
Pump & Dump
Vivek is a con artist IMO. Anyone that trusts him would have to be either naive, uninformed or a willing victim. And that includes Trump re: trusting him.

I hear what you’re saying. I hear (read) what most others are saying about Vivek. You hate him. They hate him.
So, what will we do when Trump picks him as veep?
lolol
I can see it now.... “Great choice. Trump’s a Hero. I was always a Vivek supporter. Blah, blah, blah.”
No one can trust a swamy, let alone a ram ass one. All swamies are grifters.
>> I don’t thin[k] God is prejudiced.
“For you shall worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God...” — Exodus 34:14
For several millenia those who worship Jehovah and His son Jesus have gotten themselves in trouble by slipping into that attitude that there are many gods besides Jehovah, and “many ways to God”. There are not. That applies to people-groups (i.e. nations) as much as it applies to individuals.
America’s blessings and its hedge of protection are predicated upon our covenant with Jehovah as a nation, made even before America’s inception but emphasized at its founding.

I don’t think it’s a matter of “hate”. It’s a distrust factor and for some reason, I don’t want to see anyone I distrust in a position of that much power (I’m funny that way).
If Trump picks Vivek as his VP, it would be a huge index finger “eff yew” to the Christians in America. So I’d probably react by not voting for the presidential or the VP position. I seriously doubt that Trump would choose to be that dumb, though.
No, period.
I seriously doubt that Trump would choose to be that dumb, though.

Trump has a fantastic record of picking dumb people for his administration. If he picked Mike Pence, then he could pick anybody for 2024.
I wonder why your position today about this candidate is any different. What did you say about Trump back then?
I’ve been on the Trump Train since I watched him come down the escalator.
I’m from Long Island. I understand his language. I understand his mannerisms. Folks ignore or don’t know about the things he did, without receiving any recognition. Read up on the 1995 Veterans Day parade.... https://www.factcheck.org/2019/11/donald-trump-and-new-yorks-veterans-day-parade/
Not one of his tweets ever came across as mean. I thought they were funny.
I laugh at the way he insults people.
And more importantly, I marveled at the things he did, pretty much without any help from McConnell or Ryan.
I think the biggest reason they conspired to get rid of him is because he was going to be on a second term, figured out who all the traitors were, knew the game and was getting ready to drop multiple MOABs on the DC establishment. They weren’t going to allow that to happen.
As for his picks, I don’t think he realized just how much they all hated us. He learned that there was no getting past McConnell and Schumer, who worked together to make sure he didn’t get what he wanted. Mattis is a perfect example. Mr Marine, himself. Right up there with Chesty and John Basilone. And then we all find out that he wanted Clinton to win, he wanted to work for her and that he withheld information and lied to the President.
So, that’s where I stand and have stood since Day 1. He’s getting my vote regardless of where he is. I don’t care if he’s in the Supermax and not even on the ballot. Why? Because not one other person is who he is. They’re all Establishment, as far as I’m concerned.
And with regards to Ramaswamy, I think he’s the ultimate snake oil salesman that learned, very quickly, tell them what they want to hear and they’ll love you.
“Trump has a fantastic record of picking dumb people for his administration. If he picked Mike Pence, then he could pick anybody for 2024.”
Well, in all fairness to Trump... I had no idea Pence was capable of being such a POS either. Sometimes it is hard, if not impossible, to predict. But that Omarosa pick? Holy crap, I’m still dropping jaw on that one.
👍👍👍
“And with regards to Ramaswamy, I think he’s the ultimate snake oil salesman that learned, very quickly, tell them what they want to hear and they’ll love you.”
That’s exactly what I’m seeing re: Vivek. And I’m not buying what he’s selling. Here he is acting all victimhoodish. Where the hell was he when social media was censoring and then banning Trump? I never heard a peep out of him. But now it’s “different” (typical leftist behavior).

I bet you thought no one would check the video timestamp. You lied. The video states why is his connection to George soros via scholarship and his involvement in the Ohio COVID 19 response team scrubbed from Wiki?

He knows that Pres Trump has 60+% support in the country. He does and says stuff to play up to those 60+% in the event that something happens to Pres Trump.
What is his latest act? Suing the DOJ about one of Pres Trump’s indictments. IMHO, there’s a reason they’re throwing the kitchen sink at Pres Trump. Everyone of the cases is a dog with fleas. They know he’s going to win them.
Look at the NY lawsuit with that lady. He wasn’t allowed to mount a defense. NY made up a law, specifically, to allow her to bring the case. It wouldn’t meet the merits on the criminal side so it had to be civil. They wouldn’t allow the jury, not that it would have mattered, to see her interview on Cooper’s show where she stunned him and talked about how rape was sexy or whatever she said.
“He knows that Pres Trump has 60+% support in the country. He does and says stuff to play up to those 60+% in the event that something happens to Pres Trump.”
Agreed. He’s a typical political operative. He’ll say whatever he has to to convince his target audience.

Conclusions: Gimsilumab did not improve mortality or other key clinical outcomes in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia and evidence of systemic inflammation. The utility of anti-GM-CSF therapy for COVID-19 remains unclear.
The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Each year, we invest in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture or their academic field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support over two years, and they join a lifelong community of New American Fellows.
I think that it’s great that he’s in there, because he is representing views that otherwise would be ignored by the current field. Doubt I’d ever vote for him, but I think it’s good that he’s in the field.
Vivek Ramaswamy’s political affiliations and voting history via documentation obtained from the Franklin County, Ohio, Board of Elections suggests that Ramaswamy is not a registered Republican but, rather, a registered “Unaffiliated” voter.
In an X post (formerly Twitter), candidate Singh wrote, “Per documentation received from the Franklin County, Ohio Board of Elections, Vivek is not a registered Republican, but Registered ‘Unaffiliated’ and never voted in a Republican Primary in his entire life.”
Ramaswamy declared his presidential candidacy this past February, and has previously defended his failure to vote in his younger days, telling Sean Hannity he hadn’t then because he was “a jaded person in my twenties”.............and living off a Soros scholarship.
Adding to the controversy, Federal Election Commission (FEC) data reveals that Ramaswamy was a donor to the Democratic Party in the 2016 Democratic Primary.
FEC records show that on March 29, 2016, Vivek Ramaswamy made a $2,700 ActBlue donation to the “Friends of Dena” campaign group, which is associated with Democratic Party congressional candidate Dena Minning Grayson.
Yes.
I understand completely about how New Yorkers think and talk. Most evangelical Christians have caught up with that too now so that is no issue with Trump.
We had every reason back then to suspect he was a Manchurian Candidate, but who thinks that today? Remember when Trump suggested Romney as SecState? People were saying, “Ha, I told you so.” But who remembers that now?
I can tell you what others are saying about Vivek. I cannot tell you they are right or that they are wise.
1. Not natural born? This complaint only holds traction with process purists. “But it’s the constitution!” Most are shrugging this off.
2. Soros Scholarship? This is going the way of the “Rhodes Scholar” thing of the past. It may be that some of the same people who tried to make that the Shibboleth back in the Clinton era are energized in the same way. Same as “Ted Cruz’s wife works for Goldman Sachs!!” Vivek’s explanation seems to be sufficient, if I can judge by people I have talked to.
3. Drug Company fraud? I have not heard what Vivek says about this. One defender says that there is much hopefulness for an Alzheimer’s drug. They are still working on the drug. Is it for sure that it is a total fail? If you understand why Trump’s business practices never impacted his candidacy, including the Kelo thing in NYC, then you can expect that this complaint will not hold. Whether it should or not is another question.
4. Federal Abortion Ban? He said he would not sign one so the Libertarians are happy. The Electabilities are happy. The Evangs are scowling, frowning but letting it drop.
5. But he’s Hindu! Not holding either. Kinda like Kennedy being a Catholic. The people who raised that issue in 1960 thought that it was decisive. They had no idea how JFK would handle it. For Vivek this will be easier for him to turn to his good and he is smarter and better than JFK.
I really cannot see this happening though. My girl thinks Vivek is positioning himself to be VP. I don’t think Rino’s and Libs will ever tolerate that or anyone who says that climate change is a scam. Anyway, it is all an academic exercise because the Dem/Rino fraud machine in the key swing states is still in place, stronger than ever, soooo.....
Jordan Peterson, who should stay out of it, is very influential with young conservatives in our country. He is now pushing Vivek so stay tuned. “There is no doubt that Vivek won that debate,” says my daughter. “When they asked who would support Trump...” she said, “Only one hand went up immediately.”
Please correct me, I appreciate your thoughts.
