If you walked down to the beach, disrobed to just your suit..and paddled away; would your clothes be near the body?

That doesn’t seem THAT suspicious. But maybe I am missing something.

I would wonder about other footprints or evidence of other people. Also, the tox screen would be interesting. But the state doesn’t release that stuff unless there is a suspected crime. We know THAT isn’t going to happen.

Not if he was wearing them over a piece of clothing such as this (Which is called a bathing suit, typically worn when one goes into the water after taking off their outer garments.)
