According to the news outlet CNN, Ramaswamy called the climate change agenda a hoax, which drew reactions from other candidates, including former Vice President Mike Pence, who labeled him a "rookie." Meanwhile, fellow Republican and presidential candidate Chris Christie attacked Ramaswamy, saying, "I've had enough already tonight of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT." "Climate change is a hoax...The reality is more people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change," Ramaswamy had said
Details on Christie's Obama remarks
Christie continued to lay into the Indian-American during the debate, saying, "He stands up here, and the last person in one of these debates, Brett, who stood in the middle of the stage and said, 'What's a skinny guy with an odd last name doing up here' was Obama." "I'm afraid we're dealing with the same type of amateur tendencies tonight," added Christie. Ramaswamy's epic response to Christie
However, the Indian-American candidate came up with an epic response to Christie and said, "Give me a hug like you did to Obama, and you'll help elect me just like you did to Obama. Give me the damn hug, brother." To note, Ramaswamy's response alluded to the backlash Christie received for hugging Obama in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, days before the 2012 presidential polls. However, he has since denied those claims.

Looks like RAMASWAMPY is the new GOPe darling. Adios, Ronaldo. Bye.
Idiots. I think not. Look at VIVEK’S positions:

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We have expressed our current views and can agree to disagree.
I am perhaps a purist in that I try and treat people as I would be treated. I’d rather walk away than take advantage of unsophisticated investors by selling something I know isn’t true.
That Alzheimer drug he bought & made big$ on had failed prior trials. He had his mom (MD), resample the study and eliminate people so that the results looked like there was success. The movie referenced in the thread fills out all the unsavory details. A secretary who marries her married boss should expect him to cheat on her in later years. My expectations of Vivek are similar. Not a man to have with his scissors on your lifeline.

“THIS IS A BIBLICAL COUNTRY. I DON’T WANT A HINDU IN THE WHITE HOUSE.”
Has the United States Become Judeo-Christian-Islamic?
Religion News Service
Hindu Press International
May 18, 2003
UNITED STATES, May 17, 2003: Leading Muslim organizations say it’s time for Americans to stop using the phrase “Judeo-Christian” when describing the values and character that define the United States. Better choices, they say, are “Judeo-Christian-Islamic” or “Abrahamic,” referring to Abraham, the patriarch held in common by the monotheistic big three religions. The new language should be used “in all venues where we normally talk about Judeo-Christian values, starting with the media, academia, statements by politicians and comments made in churches, synagogues and other places,” said Agha Saeed, founder and chairman of the American Muslim Alliance, a political group headquartered in Fremont, Calif. According to a 1984 scholarly article by religion writer Mark Silk, “Judeo-Christian” wasn’t used to refer to a common American outlook of values and beliefs until World War II, when the supposedly Christian Nazis and their death camps made future references to “our Christian civilization” sound ominously exclusive. “‘Judeo-Christian,’ which in 1952 looked like an incredibly inclusive term, doesn’t look very inclusive now,” said Silk, now director of the Greenberg Center for the Study of Religion in Public Life at Trinity College, in Hartford. Conn., in an interview. “So we probably need a new term.” Osama Siblani, an influential voice among American Muslims and publisher of the Arab-American News in Dearborn, Mich., takes an even broader view. “I believe we should call this the United States of America, made up of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jews and others,” said Siblani. “This stuff about language has to stop. We are all just Americans.”
HPI adds: America’s founding fathers consciously avoided creating a “Christian nation.” Thomas Jefferson, author of the declaration of Independence, authored in 1786 the “Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom,” which set strong precedent for the standing of religion in the new country. He wrote that during a debate to adopt the bill, “An amendment [which proposed to insert] the words, ‘Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion,’ [was rejected] by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and the Mohammedan, the Hindoo and the infidel [any non-Christian] of every denomination.”
All the nutjobs on here seem obsessed with this man lol. Do you want to compare his business maneuvers to Trump’s and see which one is more sleazy? Why condemn one and not the other for similar behavior? I doubt there’s a billionaire out that that hasn’t played the system and hasn’t screwed over others on his climb to the top. As political pasts go I’ve seen worse than anything you could accuse Vivek of. Ross Perot got his wealth from the hundred of millions in government contracts his business had. None of these guys qualify for Sainthood but that’s not what we’re voting for here.
Vivek Ramaswamy stands out at first Republican presidential to be caught being on Soros pay roll and can’t hide it but still working on denying it.
Thank you, especially for the time stamp. This is one example of Vivek walking back his positions. That is a feature of Vivek Ramaswamy. When he sees that something isn’t going over well he “explains” by changing his position.
One of the articles I posted was of an interview with Candace Owens where Vivek modified positions mid interview. The only position he held firm on was no caps to skilled immigration. That position is very good for multinational companies but terrible for Americans.
I was going to abstract the article but I think it is better reviewed as a whole.

The below is from a Politico article. This was one of the statements that Vivek walked back:
While Donald Trump promised to lead the nation to recommit itself to the pursuit of greatness, what he delivered in the end was just another tale of grievance, a persecution complex that swallowed much of the Republican Party whole. Trump took a page from the Abrams playbook. His claims were just as weak as Abrams’. She claimed voter suppression in her 2018 defeat, he claimed voter fraud two years later. He filed scores of lawsuits over various claims of fraud, as was his right, but they came nowhere close to changing the outcome in a single state, let alone the several swing states whose results he needed to overturn. In many cases, judges the president himself had nominated ruled against him, a sign of health in our nation’s institutions.
Of the 62 lawsuits he and his supporters filed, he lost all but one, a minor victory in Pennsylvania that affected few votes. A Supreme Court with a strong conservative majority ruled against Trump twice. Top election officials in virtually every state, regardless of party, said they’d found no evidence of any significant level of fraud. Our institutions did hold, in the end. But they shouldn’t have been tested.
(A very inaccurate summation but now he is saying that Trump is great and there was election fraud)
A very colorful commentator points out the spin.

Hmm well I wasn’t aware of all the details so I will look into it further. I just know his business strategy was to pick up these drugs he thought looked promising that the big companies had given up on. If there was fraudulent behavior then show me the relevant court case that proves such.
You got to be kidding. Trump delivered well constructed buildings and projects. He delivered for our Nation on many more of his promises than any POTUS in 50 years and you see no difference in the typical hard negotiating for subs and supplies compared with a man who fakes trial results to push shares of his company based on a failed drug. Spare me.
Like I said show me proof he was found to have used false data. Shareholder lawsuits are a dime a dozen and mean nothing unless the judgement is in their favor.
Jim Watx the best evidence is the video.

That summarizes the series of events. The video is a real gift because it is comprehensive. I had teased out a lot of the background material in the last few months but the video commentator has the studies that were reworked and additional detail.
These kind of false articles are not evaluated in courts. In the last couple weeks one scientific magazine bust retracted over 2000 pages of articles that are now admitted to be untrue from the COVID scandal. Those were retracted because they were published. Vivek’s were created for sales
I post my sources so that people can make up their own minds.

I don’t consider that sleazy clown Meet Kevin an authority on anything and refuse to sit through one of his vids. Sum up the charges and then ask yourself if they were real why hasn’t VR been held liable in court? Give me the relevant documents not the mutterings of some notoriously sleazy YouTube grifter. I wouldn’t be surprised if Meet Kevin was getting paid to smear Vivek. That’s just the kind of sleazeball the guy is.
"He’s glib and knows how to sell himself by saying what you want to hear but if you listen carefully there are tells."
Has the issue ever been brought to the SCOTUS? It's definitely a Constitutional issue.
Thank you.
To my knowledge, no, SCOTUS has never ruled on the meaning of ‘natural born’. Some will name the US vs. Ark, but the issue there was native born not natural born.
Considering the importance of qualifying to be a presidential candidate, it's hard to believe that no one has brought a case to the SCOTUS to settle the definition of 'natural born' in Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of the Constitution.
Some of his detractors are raising legitimate questions, but a lot of them are, indeed, idiots. They undoubtedly wouldn't diss him if he had a name like Blake Carrington IV, was descended from Mayflower passengers, had blue eyes and was a United Methodist or an Episcopalian.
