She was filming some movie in Carmel Cali(mid 1950’s) and rebuffed my request for an autograph. That ended any chance of ever being a “fan boy” of any of them. ππ. Thanks Ms. Day

In my gigging days, I encountered a few 'celebrities'. Most were nice enough. Cab Calloway was still charging a dollar for an aurograph, so I just shook his hand instead.
Kim Zimmer was a soap opera actress who my mom liked. Met her on a gig, she signed an autograph for my mom, and one for me as well.
I've actually been asked to sign autographs. I'm nobody, but I was happy to do it. It was just weird.
