Back story, Louis ran an Apple Computer repair store in NYC. Finally left after he could not take it anymore and moved to Texas. He did various interesting YouTube videos on NYC real estate, business, government, etc. But I found these two interesting.

NY issued a warrant for fees owed by Louis' company. OK it happens, but Louis found the 400 companies with warrants issued on the same day as Louis' also started the same time Louis's started. And the warrant fee was the same for all 400 companies!

The second video is where Louis finds out the tax notice was mailed to some PO Box in Maine. WTF? This is why he never dealt with the issue, no notice, thus the warrant and more money for NY!

So given the amount of time it took Louis to discover and fix the issue, you would understand that a business person cannot take the time or hire expensive legal help. So they just pay in most cases.

NOW THE POINT!

If the financial department of NY can data mine to generate questionable fees, mail the notice to the wrong address and then go to court for a warrant (more $), this appears to be their operational plan. The management allows at best case, the workers create the bogus list and are OK with the Scam? This appears to be their mind set! Of course the government workers play stupid when someone tries to ask questions and resolve, the STALL. Just let government have their way because you will never be able to resolve the issue.

So why stop there?

I wouldn’t doubt it. One thing to keep in mind is that these Democrat cities have been one-party fiefdoms for a century or more in some cases. The only oversight they have had at all is when federal prosecutors get involved, and I suspect they hardly have to worry about that anymore, and they know it. So essentially they have absolute power, and we know what that leads to.

They just have a system that audits business after a certain time and makes sure they pay their fees. Probably runs every morning on businesses opened a fixed time before, and there is a bureaucrat who collects the output and puts it in the mail. Other than the fees are too high, I can’t see what the problem is.
