There is a dangerous trend that is occurring in this country. Narcissism, which is a lonely and sick place, seems to be taking over larger and larger portions of our population.
From incessant selfies, to turning every event into a personal tragedy. From demanding that others accept your current pronouns, to confusing and conflating your feelings with facts and reality.
So, you're saying it's not all about ME? That sort of destroys my self inflated image that helps me make it through the day. That means I go back to the booze. I think I know where I went wrong. Growing up I should have used John Wayne for my role model instead of the telebubbies. Sort of a downer.

Last night I saw 4 cops very professionally handling a raging, dunken lunatic. They put on restraints and loaded the lunatic into the paddy wagon. Some idiots were screaming at the cops because I guess any arrest is forbidden now.
Of course...the people yelling at the cops were filming themselves doing so.

I personally know six narcissists very well. Two recently lost husbands and seemed to grieve not at all. Sad, that they are cheated from knowing love.
Ive seen his videos. His sctick was to pretend that he was very rich in a mocking way.
Did he stream his suicide?
Did he get a lot of followers?
It’s very true. Look at this guy, he had 170,000 followers. Not a superstar, but more than most content creators will ever achieve. And it still apparently wasn’t enough to make him happy.
Narcissism is a very contradictory thing. They may act like they are only concerned with themselves, but in fact, they are obsessed with what other people think about them, and seeking others’ approval. And they do not tolerate others’ disdain very well at all. It’s a very unstable thing to try to base your self-image on.
170,000 on tiktok is not even a blip on the radar.
