And how do we stay generally happy?

The little wins help. And in my discussion with the cheese department girl at the Publix store yesterday, something simple was mentioned. She said - for every bad thing, there are 5 good things. Then she went on to say, you’re alive, you can afford the food in your cart (buggy), you’re smiling, you’re moving around freely, you have a home.

Simple things, but simple positive things. So taking her point of view, when you see something wrong, and we see plenty wrong, think of 5 things that are right. Doesn’t make the wrong less wrong, but it certainly adds some balance. Enough to carry on for another day.

And like RN says, God wins in the end.
