Wild, wild laughs, adventure and special-effects
wizardry abound when megastar
Will Smith reteams
with the director of "Men in Black." Smith is agent
James West, leading sidekick Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline)
and a sexy adventuress (Salma Hayek) on a perilous
assignment: stop Dr. Arliss Loveless (Kenneth Branagh)
and his contraption-driven plot to establish a Disunited
States of America.

GENTS, THANKS FOR WAITING. ENJOY
Just more progressive revisionism.
There’s only one Jim West!
The real Dr. Loveless was portrayed by the brilliant diminutive actor Michael Dunn.
I grew up watching the OG on TV, and have never even thought of watching the movie. Will Schmidt? Come on man.
As one who does not have cable TV, I appreciate his links to free movies on the Internet.
True that. Never missed an episode as a kid.
I’ve read multiple places that the stars, Ross Martin and Robert Conrad, hated each other.
The only good thing about the movie was the train. The locomotive was one of the Silverton locomotives out of Durango CO.
Yeah, I understand Conrad thought very highly of himself.
Really? Conrad got credit for doing his own stunts, and Martin said “I do all my own acting,” but was there really more bad blood than that?
Ditto on Artemus Gordon.
Indeed.
Conrad also acknowledged it never would have been good show without Martin.
Will Smith was not right for the role at all.
One of the most expensive flops ever in Hollywood not to mention one of the worst pictures I have ever seen. The plot was absolutely ridiculous. The acting terrible the Casting was terrible.
There’s not one good thing I can say about this film. Except it never should’ve been made. I believe I remember reading that the budget on this picture in 1998 money was about $180 million. Adjust that for inflation and what is it today about $300 million?
The most expensive thing that they built for that movie was that spider
Thanks but that will be a hard pass.
#8 They liked each other along with Red West. They were clearly friends with each other and recounting the show on a talk show I saw dated 1978 promoting a movie of the show plus his Centennial.

Stephanie Edwards interviews Robert Conrad, Ross Martin, Red West
Funny interview. Stephanie Edwards kept accidentally insulting Red West with Conrad falling on the floor laughing.
