I’ve sern a Red-Shafted Flicker sitting on top of one of these dishes, using it the way they use dead trees to advertise their presence. It sure was loud in the focal direction.

Good grief. I'm retired from Verizon and our Microwave feedhorn cowlings were a totally different type for long haul shots, but how much signal degradation did they have to ignore before they sent a craftsman out there to check on it?
