Maybe things have changed, but back in my college days, members of a sorority would vote on whether to admit new pledges. Was this sorority forced to accept this trans pledge against their will? Or did a majority back his/her admission? Knowing this would help to clarify this case for me.

Most likely not.

The people in the picture look like the people waving LBGQT and BLM flags at the schools in my county.

Zero discernment, just a “go with the flow” crowd.
