Well, he’s right. What happens when one side starts disengaging from the country, because those in power and those who support those in power, starts to impose rule upon the one side, is that the one side wants to go their own own. Succession becomes an inevitability of that.
He’s not wrong when you see the deal Hunter Biden was going to walk away with and you see New York literally charging Trump with felonies that they literally charged Hillary Clinton with a year earlier and she got a slap on the wrist and 8000 fine. I don’t know if the base of the party can be kept at bay much more.
I think you are going to see candidates in GOP primaries next year be asked point blank will you go after democrats and if they say no they probably won’t make it out of the primary.
Gingrich absolutely nails it in a short, right-to-the summary of the situation. He rightfully predicts a generation or more of distrust at a minimum, and possibly much worse.

The GOP is fine with that. They want a disengaged base while they move the party to the left. The farther left the Dems go the farther left the GOP can go and still be to the right of them.
What’s going to happen - and it should have happened the moment Biden was installed at the WH by a corrupt voting system - is that the white working and middle-class is going to take a dump and start doing them. They are going to completely check out of the system.
Checking out is a step or two away from secession.
The apathy may last for a while, but it’s a hair-trigger event away from full blown civil war.
