Provided you have a Constitutionally \elected\ sheriff in your county (and provided that sheriff is not beholden to a political party), these are the law enforcement persons to contact.
The sheriff works for the People , not the ‘village council’.
They care more about their pensions and paychecks. They could care less about the country.
