“We all live 72 hr. from chaos.....”

This.

Since this catastrophe, I have been running scenarios through my head. What would I do if I had nothing but the clothes I’m wearing? No house, no food, no supplies, no weapons, no things and no place to defend, and pretty much the same for all of my neighbors. The first thing I would do is GTFO and find a relative or a friend. If my family was with me, we’d all be hoofing it out of there - somewhere, anywhere but that spot. Nothing can live there now for a long time.

Govt. is salivating at the prospect of more like this.

God have mercy

The answer is to pull community together like family and work together.

This is just the beginning and mild in comparison to what is in the near future.

I would not want to live near any US city when the food and crime rampages begin.

If you can get out... No one is prepared for evacuation traffic. After the Alameda fire, it was terrifying trying to drive out of the valley.

Your friends and relatives will likely be in the same situation as you. They can’t or won’t help you. I thought I was prepared..even had extra meds that anyone in my family might ever need! I had food and supplies for everyone but the one thing I didn’t think about was where I would go if I had to leave.

Almost three years later, my friends have all passed. Some from the aftermath of that urban wildfire. I’m stuck in a firezone and it was 110 and smokey yesterday.

There is still no place to go when the next fire comes. And it surely will. I don’t think I would run again.
