A Los Angeles Nike store was hit by a pack of thieves who stuffed merchandise into trash bags and took off just days after an area Nordstrom was targeted similarly.

Video posted Sunday on the Citizen App shows the shocking robbery at the crowded Nike Community Store on Whittier Blvd. in East Los Angeles.

The robbery took place Saturday evening and involved two women and one man who were seen grabbing shoe boxes before exiting the store.

The incident is just the latest in a string of similar events where a group of thieves ransacks a store, overwhelming employees and getting away with thousands.

Around the same time on Saturday, a mob struck the Topanga Westfield Nordstrom, smashing and grabbing some $100,000 from cases near the store's entrance.

The Nordstrom robbery was the second occurrence of its kind within a week.

According to officials with the Los Angeles Police Department, the robbery happened just after 5.30pm in the 4500 block of Whittier Blvd.

In the video, a male suspect is seen dropping his bag filled with shoe boxes and scrambling to clean it up as his conspirators continue.

Other guests are seen walking around the store unbothered as the man cleans up the disassembled shoes and then continues out of the store.

Two women are seen in similar situations, walking with trash bags full of clothing and shoes and leading the man out of the store.

In the latest incident, the group got away with roughly $1,000 in merchandise.

It's unclear if the group fled on foot or if they had a getaway car waiting outside the store.

As of Monday morning, police said all three suspects are still at large.

A small crack in the damn.

A super lefty friend who lives in Topanga Canyon is finally very upset about lawlessness in California because, for the first time, it's close to home.

De-funding the police and decriminalizing retail theft was such a clever, enlightened idea. I salute the fine members of the California legislature.

They’ve certainly shown all us benighted, backward boojie squares how out-of-it we are. I thank them for the lesson.

Most of them were followers of some rapper that probably had a contract to wear NIKE tennis shoes for promotion.

Nordstrum going under, I think it's all part of a plan . . the goods will be on ebay and they'll get whatever profit deal was struck . . . not the banks.

Next will be the fire . . .

insurance.

At some point only a 12 gauge to the groin will fix these diseased animals. Apply as needed until symptoms clear up.

I bet you these online merchants like Etsy and Temu are involved in this. Probably Amazon and Alibaba too. They’re coordinating with these lowlife thugs, who should all be packed into a cargo plane and dumped into Liberia.
These thugs have to sell their product somewhere, and they don’t do corner sales anymore. I bet you the merchandise is dumped into an unmarked truck or garage and the thugs get cash upfront and it’s sold online cheaper than in the stores.
Shoplifting is a lucrative, organized crime now and there’s a syndicate running the operation.

Put 50 Gucci Handbags in a display window with Bank note dye bombs. They get more than 50 feet from the building, ka-boom.

A collapsing society, preying on children, run by political whores on the take from weapons makers sending money abroad. It’s pathetic.

There could be laws that define what can be sold online and what can be sold in stores.

A model 650s might only be sold in physical stores and a model 650w might be sold only be sold on the web, but a model 650 might be sold via any channel.

Laundry detergent boxes might be marked by retailer, or a tough to remove merchant sticker applied.
