We were there during Christmas and I made the reservation weeks before we arrived. It was a good thing because getting reservations anywhere were really difficult.

Do you want to tell me how somebody, who is poor, can rebuild after losing their house in a fire?
It really surprises me that people with not two nickels to their name have owned homes and lived in Hawaii all of this time? They purchase a home, pay taxes, maintain their home and yet not have one thin dime. I do not understand how that can happen.
Because their income is spent doing everything and they are left with sufficent to save enough to rebuild their life completely as if nothing hapopened. Must be nice to be rich.
I read her post, no big deal. I’d be more concerned about the total screw up from the government, all Democrats.
