Biden's policy only delays Ukraine's defeat — Bolton

NEW YORK, August 14. /TASS/. The policy of US President Joe Biden's administration in relation to Ukraine just postpones Kiev’s defeat, former National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump John Bolton wrote in an article published on The Wall Street Journal's website.

According to Bolton, "Ukraine’s offensive failures and Russia’s defensive successes share a common cause: the slow, faltering, nonstrategic supply of military assistance by the West. The serial debates over whether to supply this or that weapons system, the perpetual fear that Russia will escalate to war against the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and occasional Kremlin nuclear saber-rattling have instilled a paralyzing caution in Western capitals. Although the UK under Boris Johnson wasn’t deterred, NATO has seemed unwilling to fulfill its commitment to restore Ukraine’s full sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Have you seen that Finnish border? How much can be siphoned off the hundreds of billions it will take to arm it?

It doesn’t take much to defend that area because most of it is trackless, frozen wasteland that no invader is going to be able to traverse, much less move supplies through.

Finland is under no threat of an invasion from Russia, a nation of 142 million. The EU dwarfs Russia economically and demographically. Russia doesn’t have the ability to invade and occupy Europe. They are having a hard time defeating Ukraine.

Bolton is as big a liar as any leftist.

The idea Biden hasn't spent enough and sent military aid to Ukraine is beyond a stupid contention.

The Ukrainian military was the second biggest in Europe when this proxy war began and received billions of dollars worth of tanks, missiles and ammo. The Ukrainians were fortified positions that had been built for eight years.

The fact is that despite all that, the Ukrainian military was no match for the Russian military in Russia's own backyard.

NATO itself couldn't have gone into Ukraine and won a war against Russia.

Our tax dollars will be used to fortify that border regardless.

Under the most rosy scenario the air, intelligence and ready reserves involved alone will be hundreds of billions over the next decade or so. All of it was totally unnecessary until NATO’s meddling.

Pekka, why has our country joined NATO?” one Finn, Matti, asks the other. “Because we are facing the Russian threat,” Pekka answers. “But why are we facing the Russian threat?” Matti ponders. “Matti, that’s because we are joining NATO,” Pekka concludes.

It's trackless wasteland. The USSR only 'defended' it on the Eastern side to try and prevent escapes. No one is going to devote "hundreds of billions" to do anything there, for any reason. I think you have no idea what you're talking about to the point you can't recognize how ludicrous you sound.

All of it was totally unnecessary until NATO’s meddling Russia started invading neighbors and their remaining neighbors took notice and decided to get off the menu.

FTFY

Well shoot, if it costs nothing to defend the border and nothing will be done for Finnish defense, why in God’s name did the Finns join NATO? Did they just want to weasel their way onto the Russian nuclear target list? Why should an American neocon care how much it costs? We’re printing $600 million a day for Uke corruption. What’s a few billion more for Finland? If, as you say, Finland needs zero upgrades to be able to fend off the Russians, why did the DC MIC oligarchs get Finland in in the first place. No weapons bought, no kickbacks laundered back to DC. You really don’t know how DC operates.

Ukrainian offensive didn’t break through Russian lines and result in taking of large scale territory and settlements, but Ukrainians are doing way better than Russians were during their own winter offensive. In the last 12 months the only pieces of Ukraine Russians were able to take was Soledar and Bakhmut, Ukraine liberated more land in the past 8 weeks than Russia advanced over in the past 12 months.

The Ukrainians are being slaughtered at an unsustainable rate. All the party propaganda organs are aligning with the new narrative of “We did everything possible, Stiletto Heels dropped the ball”. CNN, NYTs, FOX, WP, NY Post have, in the last week, ran multiple variations of that new narrative. The ground is shifting under the Z man’s feet. The neocon nightmare: Peace breaks out, negotiations, oh my!

LOL

The fact that Finland chose to join NATO now shows the weakness of Russia. The Finns no longer fear Russia. During the Cold War Finland feared the Soviets and clung to their neutrality. FWIW, I was posted to Helsinki 1975-77.

I clearly state that anything from Tass is just as likely to be disinfo as anything from CNN, FOX or the Biden Administration (which you consistently show 100% support for its globalist dogma). Just what are the Tass lies? Enlighten me. Anything, anything you post, I will enumerate the lies, lie by lie. Put up or shut up. What lies in the posting are you speaking of?
