This is an area that is so understudied
Imo...if you are going to assume you have no genetic problem...and you want to take the dose reccommended by that group that advocates for it. .then be darn sure you take it on an empty stomach and with no other things that might cause it to cross the brain barrier..like vitamin a and e..
To me the risk is what it does while In your brain...of course if you are already on your deathbed because of covid you won’t care about that..you aren’t going to care if you might get long term neuropathy from it
The other thing that so many people advocate is quercetin. But you better look at all the things quercetin inhibits and interacts with. You can look it up on the drug bank website
And I will say again...I will bet many of you here have drug genetic problems..there are a lot of them...so if you have had a problem with a drug or drugs don’t work like they should spend the money and get a whole genome test. I am in the last decades of my life and no one ever thought to test me.
Drugs are a crap shoot anyway for people with no defects
Yeah ive seen the quercetin interactions and side effects- I take ECGC? (NOT SURE I have the spelling right- it’s basical.y green tea extract) which seemed to have less adverse possibilities.
The possible alzheimer’s risk though is concerning for ivermectin- not sure though how much of a risk it is.
