So, anyway, I begin a lot of sentences with “so”.. but I don’t drink soy, don’t carry a tote, and will NEVER use the metric system.

But Petey, you're a gal. It's perfectly acceptable for you to do all those things...except use metric--that marks you as a dangerous subversive and most likely a furriner.
