When pilots tell the control tower how many people are on board, they say, “I have xxx souls on board plus xxx crew.”

In an emergency, tower or approach asks for souls onboard and fuel state. There isn't a differentiation between crew and passengers. As for fuel pilots should be giving the amount in pounds not time. All of this is in case of a failed return for the crash/fire rescue guys.

In general, airline pilots don’t give info to tower or approach/departure control because the company files that info for them. On departure the control will read the plane’s clearance and the pilots repeat it back, in case there is a change to the filed flight plan. Good pilots repeat all clearance info back, routing/altitude changes etc. In extremis, they can use ‘Wilco’ (will comply) if they are busy since communicate comes after aviate and navigate. Military ordnance deliverers typically use this when they receive directions from a Forward Air controller (FAC) because the FAC is always busy with other things.

Why do they call them “souls”

A sop to Christianity? It is too much work to ID all the lefties and gingers, so the default is to give them a soul even if they lack one.

3:15 prayer time.
Please join in.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

There’s no doubt that John Smith was a self-promoter and definitely overplayed/overhyped his claims about his relationship with Pocahantas (who was probably age 9-11 at the time). But the modern-day university “historians” accuse Smith of brutality that was simply random, and it was anything but. People tend to get a little revenge-y after finding their friends have been spatchcocked alive and thrown into a fire piece by piece.

My ancestors lived at Basse’s Choyce on the James River and survived the 1622 Opechancanough massacre, so reading this book was extremely informative and I highly recommend it. He is a British author and utilized a ton of resources in the UK Archives that I had no idea existed.

Bradleys are eurotrash compliant-—no more than eight feet wide to fit thru their tunnels and they squat on our rail cars just fine. But but but if dicey happens street legal will be the very very very last concern of mine, anyway. The first bulldozer will go out to clear the road then the best vehicle will go out to clear the area.

Cost will be the next-to-last concern if things are bad enough to require armoring up.

Been done before. Sometimes we get snowed in and it always sort of tickles me how my 20,000 pound tractor has the right-of-way when I go out to punch thru.

I hate phone fagging on FR. One little line of code is all they need to make it right and they won’t do it.

I’ve long had an interest in how things went at Jamestown. One of my 9th great granddads was John Chandler who was in the first group to land in Jamestown in 1607, on the Hercules. He survived the early unpleasantness and built the first dock near Jamestown. The family operated the docks there for upwards of the next hundred years.

There’s no record of why they got out of the dock bizness but the area is where Newport News Shipbuilding is now. I keep thinking those guys owe me some back rent? And Norfolk Naval Base and Shipyard in right across the James. The whole place darn near turned out to be a family operation?

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Q ~ Trust Trump's Plan ~ 08/19/2023 Vol.470, Q Day 2122, Sobieski at Kahlenberg Mtn. wrote:

Gastroparesis is a side effect of diabetes drugs Wagovy and Ozempic, which are the current off brand use fads/drugs for weight loss.

ThankQ for that helpful info!

I decided to check VAERS (medalerts.org)  to see if there was a date correlation. First, I checked and though Ozempic was approved in 2017, it didn't 'take off' until 'several months' ago.

The  other one, Wagovy, has been in high demand since 2021 so that may account for some of the caseload. These people would be reporting after getting the shot.

VAERS is poorly designed intentionally so I can't say I'm really surprised that the date of vaccination  for 1713 records was impossible (going back to the year 1905 etc.) . Those submitting a report to VAERS get an automated message saying the CDC has 4-6 weeks to review their report before publishing, and still another 133,974 records were missing the date of Covid vaccination. *sigh*

The months Jan - July of 2021 accounted for most of the gastroparesis (almost 1 million)- which overlaps with both the popularity of Wagovy and the introduction of the Covid 'vaccine'.

The numbers of reports for Covid vaxxes continues to attenuate after that up to the present. However, other commonly taken vaccines didn't have this concentration of cases. Commonly taken flu vaccines had a bubble in August/September of 2021. Very odd looking at this data.

VAERS maintains a separate classification for 'diabetic gastroparesis' and post Covid 'shots', there were only 7 cases. For the 2021 Jan - July time frame, that might rule out diabetics prescribed Wagovy, and Ozempic hadn't taken off yet. So it looks like the bubble for Covid vax may likely remain relatively intact, even if diet drug cases account for some.

Those first 7 months in 2021, the  Covid 'shot' patients would be the most fragile patients - elderly and comorbidities, Whatever the case, the doctors hand wrote 'gastroparesis' in almost 2 million records instead of selecting the option 'diabetic gastroparesis' already made available.

I checked to see how many people getting the Covid 'shot' developed gastroparesis within 9 days, for the same time period (Jan - July 2021). Approximately 60% of the original bubble for that time frame became ill (gastroparesis) within 9 days.

I tried again (jan - July 2021) and this time checked to see how many became ill with gastroparesis within the first 3 days after the shot. The number drops to roughly 50% of the total cases. I think there is evidence that a portion of the gastroparesis is related in time to injection.

Lastly, I tried searching (Jan - July 2021) for patients reporting gastroparesis onset ocurred the same day they were vaccinated. The number drops to 30% of the original for this bubble in time.

The original number of gastroparesis cases reported to VAERS following Covid shots was 1.6+   million. The  overall number of those patients reporting symptoms (regardless of vax date) occurred the same day as receiving the Covid 'shot' is about 32%. I think that relates the shot to gastroparesis regardless of any drugs they might be taking. However, I'm neither a doctor nor a statistician.

total518,879

Note that there a few other ways doctors can diagnose gastroparesis - the few other terms I checked did not have significant numbers of additional cases - but I may have missed a few search terms.

Again, thankQ for the input!

A head nod to the truth, and also the responsibility borne by the pilot and crew as accepting. The pilot must be Christian. I am unaware that’s standard procedure, but maybe souls are a universal term, unaffiliated with religion.
