Re Bonus round:
I wish more of this was public. I am hoping the drafts, texts, and emails are being used in tribunals.
Kids, I think, are naturally curious about their grandparents as they get older. I know I was, even though my maternal grandmother tried to kidnap my sister on the day of my mother’s (her daughter’s) funeral 👀😱🤣 (horrifying, yet super funny now). My older sister and I tried our best when we could drive. But she was one strange bird. She lived an hour from us when we went to college. I do have a lot of lovely, valuable things she bought me when I was a child, from her travels.
The one thing I regret is that I was unaware that she had sent me a wedding gift. My parents (dad, stepmummy) thought it was horrible so threw it away. It was actually (there’s that word lol) a box of antique fabrics. Even if it was junk, let me decide. I was so mad. Then she changed her will and disinherited my sisters and I, so that was sad. But oh well. Twasn’t my money and I’m sure she was mad I never said thank you. There was hatred on both sides.. she hated my dad, my dad hated her.
OMG a funny.. I was in kindergarten when my younger sister was born. I came home from school to a locked house, no one there, all alone, thought I had been abandoned, when mean grandma roared up in her big car, screeched to a halt, got out with her witchy shoes and said.. “Quit yer crying, your mom’s just having a baby.” Ooookaaayyy.. not bad advice really. Haha, no simpering in our family!
Anywhoo, all that to say, not all is lost. Your grandson will get in touch with you when he’s older.
And that’s a decent-ish picture of DiFiChi on the right. She looks far more decomposed now.
2 + 2 = 5, for large values of 2 and small values of 5.

Uh. That’s called “rounding”. You got another point?
Re: My grandson did it too. We heard “actually” many times a day.
I think it’s a sign of intelligence. They’ve found a way to be heard without rudely contradicting us. It also shows they value preciseness.

my grandson does it also. He’s absolutely brilliant. I like your take on it that they value preciseness. So true. I’ll never forget his dissertation on binary stars at the age of 9. Totally over my head though.
Re Monday Matchup:
I have hope. I don’t know what to think, but I have hope.
Re DiChiFi/DiFiChiSpy:
It’s ridiculous that we have term limits on the Presidency but not Congress.
Di is starting to look like the walking dead.

American football or “soccer” football?
*******************************************
As a US AMERICAN, posting on a US-based website, I made reference to US football. If I were conversing with a Spanish-speaking person I would have referred to it as fútbol americano.
As a US AMERICAN, if I were referncing “soccer football,” I would have written soccer or fútbol.
My goodness gracious.
FYI
Biden’s statement about Maui, says he is “laser focused” on helping those people.
Hmm. Laser.
Interesting choice of words.
I wanted to give him a hug.
There had to be more to that story of the police raid on the newspaper office in Kansas.
Smithereens.
Trump keeps saying.. “if that’s his real name.” He knows.
Fishy indeed.
