I don’t know how the whole thing works I this case, but wouldn’t this be the job of the Secret Service when it comes to threatening the life of the president? I get that maybe the FBI would be the ones who might initially look I to the threats, but you’d figure that would be a Secret Service deal at some point.
They got the gear. They got the badges. They got the adrenalin. They were all high giving each other back in the squad room. They’ve save us from a 75 years old illtempered cripple. Hooray. What honorable men! What courage!
They could easily have surveilled this guy and arrested him on his way to Walgreens.
I’d love to see them in fighting holes in the moonless night in the A Shau Valley. You’d smell the shyt in their pants a mile away. CT

Just as they could have easily arrested David Koresh years ago and many others. But where is the fun in that? I believe they intended to kill this man.
People have been making threats against the president since time immemorial. Don’t recall a lot of commando raids as a result of any.
You have to be physically capable of carrying out the violent act for it to be legally actionable. At least that’s what they told us in my business law class years ago. Maybe it’s different for presidents or when it’s a Democrat. Sounds like an infirm grumpy old man hated Biden. This killing may have been illegal. Like, murder.

A neighbor who was walking his dog, and witnessed the event, said it was 5:30 a.m.
Many of his post-visit “threats” could be read as taunts of the Feebies. Don’t taunt the lion..
