If that case isn’t an indictment of the state of the judicial system I don’t know what is.
The judicial community should be policing their own but they seem so invested in their prerogatives that it would diminish them to hold these incompetents to even minimal standards. There is no penalty for flagrant political bias and unequal justice dispensed by judges. Judges should not be able to make political donations rule in a partisan fashion. There should be a board to review conduct.
It sure doesn’t help, and these justices that think they can
do stuff like this in a vacuum and it won’t affect the court,
they are woefully ignorant.
We’re always going to have an element out there that will
hate the court. Now judges like this are trying to drive
regular law and order people from supporting the court
system.
If they keep it up, they will.
