This is what it looks like when a country descends into madness. Two standards of "justice" preclude any justice at all.

Hillary Clinton kept top-secret information on a home-brew private server that was infiltrated by malicious foreign actors, and she suffered no legal consequence — even after having destroyed Blackberry devices and other subpoenaed evidence of criminal culpability. President Trump keeps personally declassified documents in his home, and the FBI sends a SWAT team into Mar-a-Lago so that Merrick Garland's goons can throw Trump in prison.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama conspired with the Intelligence Community to frame Donald Trump as a Russian spy and remove him from office, and not a single perpetrator involved in that incendiary plot has been indicted. Trump correctly points out that mail-in ballot fraud irreparably marred the 2020 election, and the violent thugs in control of D.C. level criminal charges against him that could lead to his execution. Clinton and Obama participated in a wide-ranging international conspiracy that falsely blamed Hillary's election loss on the Russians — further dividing the American populace by preying on its fears and prejudices, while escalating tensions with a hostile nuclear State. Trump exercises his constitutional right to free speech, and prosecutors who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution instead betray their duties in order to persecute a political enemy.

There is no shortage of these abrasively hypocritical comparisons. Since 2016, the D.C. Uniparty and permanent Deep State have hyperventilated about Trump starting WWIII, destroying the economy, locking up his enemies, and using the powers of his office to enrich himself. None of that happened. He was the "peace president" who brought wealth back to the middle class, while taking no salary for his public service. His reward? Unending attacks from the corrupt FBI...

Couldn’t Trump’s counsel just use Hillary’s illicit activities that weren’t prosecuted as precedent? Especially since she wasn’t protected by executive privilege? Then use her statements about the 2016 election as precedent since her comments openly fomented riots around the country? And then use Biden’s hiding of classified documents as precedent, again without executive privilege?

Then we can look at Trump’s speech on January 6th, use all the video footage which has to be turned over to Trump’s counsel for disclosure as part of discovery.

If anything, congress shouldn’t only look at impeachment of Biden (just for saying if the DA in Ukraine isn’t fired, we aren’t paying) and then taking Biden to the Hague for war crimes?

It is my view that the depth of corruption is now so great that some sort of collapse is inevitable. It will not be controlled nor controllable, if a dismantling of many of the corrupted levers of power are reformed and re-formed.

The well-known words of Ben Stein come to mind: "...if something cannot go on forever it will stop."

The class of professional politicians, economists and pundits have propped up that which is becoming ever more difficult to be propped up. The madness is that these always-talking heads have no idea at all how to fix anything, so avaricious have they become for themselves. It will stop.

do not have the energy, or ability to understand basic facts.

For anyone who lived through Election Night 2020, and watched Trump winning comfortably at 11:00 P.M. EST, only to lose that massive lead by the following morning, skepticism about the election will always remain intense. (And it seems more people are getting skeptical by the day.)

That skepticism is hardened by stories of municipalities that actually stopped counting during the night and reopened with large Biden pluralities.

One precinct actually reported fewer votes for Trump when they rebroadcasted.

Millions of us saw this.

But the Bidens hold Americans in complete contempt, so they cued the media’s narrative,
that all this info came to us directly from Donald Trump
and was evidence of HIS wrongdoing.

I grew up in a small town. One of the things that made life miserable for young people growing up in such an environment was the conventional groupthink of adults. It was oppressive. The smallness of the town made for the easy communication of conventional thought. And that conventional thought put up barriers to outside influences and new ideas. And, since young people are full of new and iconoclastic ideas, the town was particularly opposed to any youthful influences.

It reminds one of the movie "Footloose".

Now our nation suffers from something quite similar.

Cutting-edge technology and the social media it has spawned turn this vast country into a giant small town.

But in the case of the country, the dominant conventional ideas are those coming from the Left. The Left gained power by turning colleges and universities into centers of indoctrination, starting back in the 1960's.

With colleges and universities pouring graduating class after class into the country and with some of the worst staying right there in the universities as professors, the entire country is now just one giant communist hive.

The funny thing is that the ideology of the Left is now and always was unworkable. There big ideas don't work. Their little ideas don't work.

In fact, when their ideas are forced onto a society, they produce mass insanity.

And that's where we are today.

Our country is a giant small town locked into the conventional groupthink of Leftist ideas.

The good news is that ideas opposed to the Leftist groupthink are gaining a foothold. Insanity just isn't that appealing.

Probably so. I don’t see anything stopping that from happening.

2024 is going to be interesting.
