We lost our sweet kitty three weeks ago to "bobcat fever". He was only 7, he went from (apparently) healthy and happy to dead in less than a week.

I miss him.

My cat went from being very mobile to not being able to move in the course of a few days. God was merciful to my cat.

When I brought it to the vet, the vet told me that it had been brain dead. It was probably brain dead between when I went to sleep to when I woke up early in the afternoon.
