The earlier version, the one without Mr. Burr is actually the better film IMHO, Mr. Burr was added to appeal to an American audience and in some ways it took away from the original film without giving much back in return.

I saw this film as a child and was captivated, to this day I still have a bromance with the big G, I have a sticker on my car, a large metal sign on my backyard fence, lots of references to the King of Monsters in my mancave...
