What a terrific film. Enjoying watching Vincent Price dance. A much younger actor in 1946.
Black and white films accentuate the acting qualities of the players. I don’t miss the color at all. Favorite movie is Roman Holiday.

When I was in my early youth, color was new and more appealing (especially as a Trekkie), but after watching some of the classic b/w movies, I started liking them more for that and for other reasons. It’s akin to color vs. b/w photos. Color gives more information about how the person appeared in real life, but it can be a distraction from the portrait aspect of a person in a b/w photo. Can’t really explain it well.
