In elementary school it was the kids whose parents had money that bought ice cream sandwiches. Everybody else bought two cent cartons of milk.
My favorite ice cream sandwich is not that chocolate melty wafer thing it was a Big Otis, that was two oatmeal cookies with ice cream in the middle dipped in chocolate... them were gooood. Haven’t seen one in years.
Similar to Eskimo Pie...............That isn’t made any more.............
