Changes are coming to Downtown Pittsburgh aimed at bringing back workers and stopping the exodus of jobs and businesses. Later this week, the city promises to unveil some new initiatives, but will they be enough to turn things around? KDKA-TV's Andy Sheehan reports.

That game runs out when a municipality no longer assures adequate physical safety and quality of life for its citizens in return for a relatively level of taxation. When Leftism triumphs and high crime, trash, and panhandlers infest downtown, people and business flee. Unless those problems are resolved, downtown revitalization schemes become political theater with no genuine prospect of success.
Note to residents: Want your city back? Secure your elections.
If your parents won’t discipline you when you are young, the time will eventually come when some stranger probably will.

The Pittsburgh area has quite a few Democrats who are stuck in the past. Those folks believe in hard work, and putting out the flag on holidays. They’ll also put “We support our police” signs in their front yards.
Unfortunately they also believe that the Democrat Party is still the party of JFK. So they vote straight Democrat every election.
Well, the Democrat Party is now longer the party of JFK. It’s now the party of soft communists like AOC and Bernie Sanders. But the old-school Democrats just can’t see that.
